Enhancing Education: Curriculum Based Tours

For most education-based organizations, the goal of a mobile marketing tour is to extend the reach of their message and advise as many people as possible about their focus. So by traveling directly to your audience and giving them an immersive learning experience, you’ll ensure they won’t soon forget about your organization. Getting involved with schools and tying your tour objectives to their curriculum is an excellent way to reach a greater amount of people.  Here are three steps to successfully integrating your tour with school curriculum:

Become a partner with the school. Start a conversation with the schools and ask educators about their curriculum and educational goals. Tailor your tour content to what students are currently learning, in order to create a more educational and meaningful experience for children visiting.

Utilize School Kits. Before stopping at a school, send teachers a packet to share with their students. This could include work sheets, trivia or quizzes based on your tour topic.  It will help create interest for your exhibit before students see it, and prepare them to be more attentive while visiting.

Enhance their learning experience. When students step into your mobile exhibit, give them something of value. Building on what they’re already learning in the classroom means they’re more likely to engage with the educational elements of your tour and absorb their current curriculum.
