Communicating Your Brand: Experiential Design

So, you’re taking your B2C brand on the road, but how do you make sure your mobile experience is up to par? Here are a few tips on how to create a sensory experience to communicate your brand to visitors.

Understand your audience: The first step of every tour is determining what you want visitors to get out of your experience. Understanding your audience will help you create the right visitor experience, which will dictate the type of vehicle, interactives and elements that should be included in your tour.

Engage with interactives:  One of the best ways to better engage with attendees is to provide interesting and exciting interactives and technologies. By offering interactive experiences within your exhibit, visitors can create their own personalized experiences, which can maximize positive connections with your brand and products.

The Five Senses: When designing an experience, every sensation communicates your brand to visitors. Branding extends far beyond the visual, but the exterior and interior of your vehicle can hold many creative ways to communicate your brand. The textures and materials used within the vehicle give the visitor a sense of the style and quality. Scents could be used to demonstrate ingredients in your products. Interactive displays could contain audio, or maybe music is being played in your experience that aligns with your brand personality.
