Rally Around the Cause
The saying, “it takes a village” has never been truer than in unprecedented times like these. Only collectively do we have the power to combat a novel virus. We each need to do our part to not only protect ourselves, but our neighbors.
The brave men and women on the frontlines certainly are doing more than their fair share. It’s vitally important that we as a society support our first responders and frontliners in any way we can.
For example, Meijer has shown their support and appreciation by repurposing their existing outreach vehicle and deployed it to local hospitals in the great Detroit area to provide hospital staff free lunches and snacks.
Other companies are currently working on creating similar initiatives to give back. From providing free services, care packages with vital resources, sponsoring a collections drive, the options are endless.
